History and Culture
Xikou Town boasts millennia of history as the hometown of significant Republic-era figures. Well-preserved architecture from that period, like Wenchang Pavilion and Wuling Gate, showcase Sino-Western fusion styles.
Tengtou Village transformed from poverty to a "Global Eco-500" model village. It preserves traditional farming culture while innovating eco-agriculture, creating distinctive rural landscapes.

Xikou Layered Cake
Traditional Fenghua pastry with up to 27 crispy layers, available in sweet/savory versions with seaweed or sesame fillings. Wang Yongshun Cake Shop in Xikou Old Street is most authentic.
Fenghua Taro
Geographical indication product with powdery texture and rich aroma. Served braised, in soup or as paste. Tengtou's taro with pork ribs is a local specialty.
Tingxia Lake Fish Head
Organic fish from Tingxia Lake stewed with tofu and bamboo shoots. Milky broth and tender meat make it especially nourishing in winter. Available at nearby restaurants.
