Wuzhizhou Island Tourism Zone in Sanya City is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist scenic area. Wuzhizhou Island was formerly known as "Guqizhou". After Sanya City was established in Hainan, when the government departments verified the place names, they found that this island had the same name as another small island in Hainan, so it was renamed "Wuzhizhou Island".
Wuzhizhou Island used to be a military restricted area, and some remains of military facilities are still preserved on the island. Lover's Bridge
The Lover's Bridge was originally an iron rope bridge, which was a sea observation point for the troops guarding the island in those days.
